A Place To Belong

Community Building

We believe that within Greater Bellflower God has already placed most, if not all, of the resources necessary to bring about its transformation. We seek to identify, empower, and support local citizens and their leaders.

Trainings

How to Help

In this training, we explore the essential aspects of caring for marginalized communities from a biblical standpoint. Attendees engage in discussions and activities that focus on empathy, kindness, and practical assistance, aligning with biblical principles of love, justice, and social responsibility. The training equips individuals with the knowledge and skills to extend a helping hand to the marginalized, fostering a sense of community, dignity, and inclusivity.

Asset Based Churching

Community Groups and Events

This training encourages churches to learn their neighborhoods; understanding what is already going well as opposed to what is missing.  Attendees are provided resources and guidance on the importance of mapping the assets within the church (the people, the property, etc.) as well as within the neighborhood surrounding the church property.  Church members are challenged to utilize listening and learning as ways to guide ministry both inside and outside of the church.
